Introduction:

Their wings are black and brown with a white fringe on the hind wings. Dark brown with small white spots near the forewing tip and a pale tan patch next to them. The hindwings have a sparse dotting.

Distribution

Food: Larvae feed on plants in the pea family (Fabaceae), such as alfalfa (Medicago sativa) and deerweed (Lotus scoparius).
